This was my first time seeking out an editorial critique from Justin and I found his feedback very insightful and descriptive. He broke down his feedback across multiple categories (such as plot, pacing, language, and characterization) which really helps me focus my revisions on each of these layers. The audio recording is also such a cool tool – Justin has a very expressive style of narration which helps me see which areas need more emphasis and are falling flat. Overall, I found Justin’s critiquing style to be helpful and honest, but also very respectful and supportive of what you as a writer are trying to portray. Looking forward to revising my manuscript with Justin’s suggestions!
